What Your Canada Cruise Will Be Like
You would be amazed at the number of people who are completely oblivious to what Canadian cruises are all about. Some people actually avoid booking cruising holidays to Canada simply because they do not know what is in store for them. Although there is variation in the types of cruise you can take, we can still examine some of the common points
Temperature. The temperature in Canada can vary from the pretty warm to the very cold, depending on when and where you go. They are however very different from a tropical cruise and you shouldn’t expect to spend the whole time sun bathing. If you are going on a colder cruise, like an Alaska cruise, warm clothing will be needed and some thermals also. If you going to a warmer region or in the summer months, you can pack accordingly. However, you should still take some warmer clothes as well because the temperature can drop in the evenings.
Wildlife. Canada boasts some stunning animals and plant life. Winter and summer bring with them a different selection of animals and additionally their will be variation depending on which area you go to. During the warmer summer months their are myriad species of birds to spot, many of which are found only in Canada. In the winter birds are not as prominent but you may get to see seals, sea lions, penguins and even whales all year round. In the Alaskan areas you may even be privileged enough to see a infamous polar bear. Now there is something to tell the grandchildren.
Entertainment. Don’t expect the same type of entertainment that you get on cruises to the Caribbean or other tropical places. Canada tours cruises usually provide more laid back music and shows, often displaying the Canadian culture and traditions. So not only do you get some quality fun but at the same time you also learn about Canada and its people.
